Career History |
Was carried into my 1st race at Ingliston at the age
of 18 months. Been around the paddock ever since but started
racing in 01' with the blue Fiesta in sports and saloons,
03' raced the Fiesta, Sierra Rover and Daimler Sovereign,
hired an XR2 with Dad for the last race of the 03' season
as a 20 year celebration of Dad's racing career, we learned
never to do it again! 2004 bought a Sunbeam Californian,
didn't finish a single race, very disappointing but hey...these
things are set to try us. 2005 I had a sabatical to concentrate
on my car design degree, I got a 2(i) so it worked! 2006
raced twice in my newly purchased XR2 (interestingly driven
by Dad in 03' frivolities) 1st race ended up in the barrier
at the hairpin after the brakeline sheared! 2nd race,
uneventful, beat a couple of people, a bit boring really...trying
to sell the car coz I am too heavy for the class! 2007...back
to the Sunbeam after a nut and bolt rebuild by my own
fair hand with a little help from Dad's bank account and
Dave Cook of Carr Racing Fabrications and Bodywork Department!

Engaged to Tanya. Not as old as everyone thinks! Play
rugby, hence my size and weight, was fairly good at it
until I did my back in playing for Coventry at the age
of 18! Love Mercedes Benz cars! Never been given the chance
with a decent car! Too heavy to race in 1 make series.
Will have been involved in motorsport for 24 years in
October 07' at the age of 25! |
