Career History |
Started off with Karts in 1983 for 9years - 125National
- Scottish Champion 1986ish, won a round of the British
short circuit champs 1991 - decided to call it quits later
that year due engine givng up the ghost and severe lack
of funds. Had a 12year lay off and decided I was a glutton
for punishment and bought a 250cc 135mph kart - had reasonable
success when engine and chassis going ok including taking
part in the European Champs at Assen but gave up throwing
money at it 2005. Then whilst visiting the 1st race meeting
at Knockhill last year my brother Pat and I were watching
Legends to which Pat asked to my surprise" dyou fancya
go at that?". About 4 weeks later we had tried out
the legends unlimited experience with Ally and ordered
two brand new cars which we received just in time for
the June meeting last year. We hired cars from Ally for
the next meeting at Knockhill and Angelsey. Had mixed
success/failure last year but managed a respectable 5th
place in the Champs. Got my 1st race wins and overall
meeting win at Oulton Park whilst having a go at the National
Chaps |
