About Us

Welcome to Scottish Club Racing, one of the few websites dedicated to the world of club motorsport run at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife. We aim to give coverage to the main Scottish Motor Racing Club classes as well as brief reports on any other car race meetings held at Knockhill, Scotland's only currently active racing circuit.

As this website is run by only two people in our spare time (not to mention we both have several interests/hobbies that take up extra time!), we can't guarantee quick updates, however we'll do our best, and hopefully this will become a useful source of information for anyone wanting to learn more about the club racing scene in Scotland, with reports and photos from each meeting, information about the series we cover, and various features. One of the focal points of this website is the link to a message board/forum, where many of the drivers post their views on the racing, as well as giving us inside information on all the latest news in the club racing world. Please note that anything said in the forum is not being reported as fact, it is simply the personal opinion of the poster.

You can contact us at catriona@scottishclubracing.co.uk, or mike@scottishclubracing.co.uk - or feel free to post on the forums with any questions you might have.

The boring stuff
The opinions contained in this site (the main body of the website, please note this DOES NOT include the forum) are strictly those of Catriona Rochford and Michael Hogg, unless otherwise stated, and are in no way connected to the Scottish Motor Racing Club, Knockhill Racing Circuit Ltd, or any other company involved in the series covered by this website. If you have a complaint about anything on this website (not including the forum), you can contact us via the e-mail addresses listed above.

Whilst we do our best to moderate the forum fairly, we cannot be held responsible for any of the views held within as it is an area of free speech. If you have an issue with anything posted by a forum member, please feel free to sign up and counter what has been said, but be aware that any open attacks on other members i.e "flaming" will not be tolerated. If you have a complaint with anything said on the forum, the best course of action is to either contact the poster directly or sign up to the forum and put across your point. You can even contact ourselves if you like and we can make your point on the forum on your behalf. Please note that the SMRC have no link to ourselves, so if you have an issue with anything said on the forum, contacting them is the wrong course of action.
